On the 1st of April of every year, we celebrate the Fool’s day. However the history behind celebrating this day is uncertain. It is celebrated as All Fool’s day where people make fool of each other. In some countries like Canada , New Zealand and UK this day is celebrated until afternoon, However in other countries it is celebrated for the whole day. Different countries celebrate this day in their own way.
Some believes that this day is the sign of the arrival of the spring , so that is the reason behind celebrating it. People make various tricks on each other in order to celebrate this occasion. In England , tricks are made only in the morning and if you are the victim of that trick then you will be called as “noodle”. In UK , Americans play small tricks on their friends. They put down on each other shoe and says that ” Your shoelace is united”.
In Scotland Fool’s day is actually celebrated for two days and the persons who are be fooled called “April gowks”.In France this day is known as “Poisson d’Avril” meaning April fish. Children will tape the paper fish and throw it on each others back. And the person on whose back the fish is thrown is called “Poisson d’ Avril”.
So Different countries celebrate this day in their own way. But the only motive of playing all these tricks is to spread happiness all around. So on 1st of April if someone make fool of you then instead being angry enjoy the day.
